Jules Destrooper biscuits were born in Belgium during the second half of the 19th century, by the hand of a baker, Jules Destrooper, who began to prepare Almond biscuits as a gift to thank his customers. The success of the biscuits forced the baker to expand the production of the biscuits on a larger scale. Since 1886 Jules Destrooper biscuits have been prepared with the same recipes, using the same natural ingredients and without additives, preservatives or colourings. Only creamy butter, fresh eggs, flour flower and refined sugar
