Since the mid-eighties, the company AJOS CACHOPO, SL now called CONSERVAS CACHOPO, SL was dedicated to the wholesale marketing of garlic, grown in large areas of the Community of Madrid, Castilla La Mancha, Andalusia and Extremadura.
Aware of the deterioration of the land by the abuse of productions as profitable as possible, we decided to abandon large crops to cultivate garlic, vegetables and vegetables grown in small lands nearby ECOLOGIC cultivation.
We were among the first producers registered in the Committee of Organic Agriculture of Madrid. We were convinced that food is the basis of our health and with organic methods we managed to obtain raw materials of the highest quality.

The idea of keeping all our products fresh came later. In 2002, it was decided to expand the activity and install in the company a room for the production of canned vegetables. It was a shame to enjoy only a few months of seasonal products so tasty and nutritious discarding or "mis-selling" the surplus that the land gave us.
So we could have traditional recipes canned, without the use of preservatives or dyes, made with seasonal raw materials, of surprising quality and also ORGANIC. In this way in winter we elaborate our canned vegetables and in summer our pistos and tomatoes
The years have passed and the idea of "we are what we eat" remains stronger in CACHOPO PRESERVES, SL. Our concern in maintaining a healthy diet by consuming at any time and with convenience fresh or canned products that guarantees maximum nutritional value is our only goal
