More information

This great piece is part of a great selection of some of the most incredible cognacs from this winery: Delamain. The cognacs have been selected based on their individuality, nature, and rarity. It has been a very careful selection carried out by the cellar master, Dominique Touteau. Thanks to him, everything that comes out of this winery has a unique style. This cognac, Vintage 1988 from the Collection Plénitude, has its origin in a plot in the village of Bouteville, located right at the top of a hill. Due to the terrain, it is described as a historical fortress that has protected the region for thousands of years. The aging takes place in 350-liter barrels made of French oak from the Troncais forest. This wood reduces the influence of tannins and allows all the flavor of the vineyard and terroir to pass into the cognac. For a period of 32 years, the barrel remains sealed with wax, ensuring that the humidity levels are perfect and the aging conditions allow the cognac to evolve slowly.
