Layac is, first and foremost, a family adventure led with passion by Céline and Julien. It was during a trip to Mexico that they discovered wood-fired roasted coffee. A true gustatory crush for them, which led them a few years later to create their own wood-fired roasting workshop in Vitrac, near Sarlat in Dordogne.

Layac exclusively roasts specialty beans, organic or from sustainable agriculture. The wood used for roasting is local and certified from sustainably managed forests. Layac is also committed and donates a portion of its profits to a foundation that supports research and innovation to facilitate the daily lives of people with motor disabilities.
