D.O. RuedaVintage: 2018
Alcohol content: 13.5%
Variety: 100% verdejo
Tasting notes: In its tasting, it shows a brighter golden color than the 2016 vintage, as although it has more aging time, it has spent less time in the bottle. The movement retains freshness very well, but it is already beginning to be unctuous, elegant, and undoubtedly sensual.
The nose is of high intensity, very frank, with great clarity of the varietal aromas that predominate at first. When aerated, the aging and the contribution of its lees arrive. Not as integrated as the previous vintage that has had more time in the bottle to come together, but it is already beginning to give excellent sensations for lovers of complex and elegant white wines. It gains in freshness and fruit compared to the 2018 vintage, but it falls slightly behind in complexity and presence of the bouquet.
The palate is smooth, fresh, with lots of fruit, retaining liveliness on the palate, Power, elegance, and silkiness where the lees and the barrel give it depth, but without losing the freshness of the varietal. The aftertaste combines fruit and spices, different from the previous vintage.
Service temperature: 6-8ºC
Elaboration: In 32 hectares of vineyard of 100% Verdejo variety, quality grapes are selected to make this great wine. Liberso is the first wine created in this winery, interesting and different, a product of discovering the limits that several values of this grape variety such as Verdejo have.
To achieve this result, 19 different wines were produced; wines that have gone through various processes, the first in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and aged with their lees for 9 months to preserve their spontaneity. On the other hand, 18 wines were individually fermented and aged for 9 months in French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels from 12 of the best coopers in the world and in 3 different volumes of 225, 300, and 500 liters.

Made in Spain Gourmet we recommend blue fish and seafood, but also with rice dishes, soft or creamy cheeses, and all kinds of rice dishes. It would also be great as an aperitif. One of those full-bodied wines that you can even enjoy on its own, with a good book.
Liberso is the first wine of the Rueda DO characterized and marketed by vintages. Each wine is a faithful reflection of the peculiarities of its year marked by a common and unmistakable style.
The Verdejo grapeThe Verdejo grape has inhabited the Rueda Designation of Origin for more than
ten centuries. Its genius is determined by its
aroma and flavor, with nuances of low mountain herbs, fruity touches, and excellent acidity. The extract, a personality factor of great white wines, is perceptible for its volume and its characteristic bitter touch that projects a spark of originality on the palate, accompanied by great fruit expression. They are wines of great harmony, whose memory after passing through the mouth invites you to continue with the tasting.
The Continental ClimateThe Rueda DO is located between 700 and 870 meters above sea level, with flat but high lands, enduring cold and very long winters, short springs with late frosts, and hot and dry summers, only interrupted by untimely storms. This factor forces the vines to seek their water resources deep in the subsoil, more than in other areas of Europe.
The budbreak is usually late, with pruning work extending until March or early April. Rainfall is scarce, reaching minimums of 300
