Pelissero Barbera d'Alba Piani is a red wine from the DOC Piani region, produced by the Pelissero family. The Barbera grapes, sourced from the prestigious gently sloping hills, are selected to capture the essence of winemaking tradition since 1957. The vinification is done with controlled temperature maceration lasting 15 to 20 days in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging for 9 months in oak barrels and 50Hl casks. This wine showcases a bright and intense ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of blackberry and cherry, accompanied by a very pleasant aromatic profile. On the palate, salinity and acidity are notable, along with a distinctive polyphenolic character and a persistent finish.
