These Petite Sablés are handmade by the pastry chefs at La Sablésienne, following a recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1670 in Sablé-sur-Sarthe. Ingredients: Wheat flour, fresh butter 21%, sugar, chocolate chips 10.7% (sugar, cocoa paste, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin), eggs, salt, starch. No coloring, no preservatives, no additives. Allergens: highlighted in bold in the list of ingredients. May contain traces of nuts, soy, sesame seeds, and other cereals containing gluten. La Sablésienne is a family-owned artisanal biscuit and chocolate shop, founded in 1962 and based in Sablé-sur-Sarthe. The natural ingredients used (fresh butter, whole eggs, etc.) are kneaded together. The cookies are then shaped, placed, and browned on metal sheets before being slowly baked. After coming out of the oven, they cool at room temperature. Finally, the cookies are hand-packed into trays.
