Tartalo 2022, with a volume of 75 centiliters, is one of the most personal wines from Oxer Bastegieta. Made in a century-old plot located in Elvillar, Rioja Alavesa, it blends Tempranillo, Viura, and Graciano grapes. This wine pays homage to the rich Basque culture, symbolized by the cyclops Tartalo. Production is carried out with indigenous yeasts in open wooden containers, followed by aging for 10 to 12 months in large barrels, highlighting the vineyard's purity and minimizing wood's influence. On the nose, it offers aromas of red fruits, thyme, rosemary, and delicate mineral notes, while on the palate it is fresh and refined with a long, persistent finish.
