Mervm Priorati presents Inici, a red wine that is a true representative of the tradition and character of the Priorat. With a composition of 60% black Garnacha, 15% Cariñena, 15% Syrah, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine reflects the richness of its terroir, particularly from the Llicorell region, where the rocky soil and low organic matter favor the production of high-quality grapes. With an alcoholic strength of 15.0% vol, its organoleptic characteristics are enhanced. On the nose, it evokes a fruity freshness balanced with the robustness appreciated on the palate, making it ideal to accompany delicacies like duck breast with grape sauce and sweet potato. It is recommended to serve at 16°C to appreciate its tones of wild red fruit and subtle anise notes. Aging is done in French oak barrels for 8 to 12 months. The 2020 vintage was rated as excellent, making each bottle a unique and prestigious expression of Mervm Priorati.
