These reusable "ice cubes" are made of shiny stainless steel and come in a set of four. Their appearance resembles small shiny stones and combines functionality and beauty as an example of contemporary Scandinavian design. They are safe for use in drinks: simply store them in the freezer and place them in a glass to keep the drink cold for longer without watering it down. They present a reusable, environmentally friendly, and plastic-free alternative to plastic ice cubes or ice sold in plastic bags. Their unique presentation can become a conversation starter during a dinner or cocktail. The designer, Aurélien Barbry, graduated from the Ecole Camondo in Paris as an industrial and interior designer and began his career working with architect Jean Nouvel. He established his own studio in 2007 and currently resides in Copenhagen. His works have received international awards, including the Cologne Interior innovation award 2010, and have been exhibited in cities such as Milan, Madrid, Cologne, and Paris.
