The spring frosts after the early sprouting of the vines marked the development of this mythical 2001 vintage. Low yields and a hot summer with periodic but very well distributed rainfall brought forward the harvest of an extraordinarily smooth and healthy grape.Recognised as the best wine in the world at the IWC in London, it stands out for its firm structure, austerity and nobility.
