Algueira Merenzao Risco is a red wine from the Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin made from Merenzao grapes by Algueira.

It is a wine created 100% with the native Merenzao variety from different plots with southwest orientations. Very short macerations and ageing time of around 6 months in old French oak barrels of 225 litres.

Algueira Merenzao Tasting Notes

Visual: with a very low layer of cherry colour.

Nose: floral and herbaceous aromas predominate with evident balsamic notes (nutmeg).

In the mouth: its aromatic delicacy deceives us, as it leaves us with a balanced, almost silky passage, with very ripe tannins and a crisp finish.
