Most filters on the market use a product for filtering called calcium sulfite (also known as additive E226). This product is a synthetic derivative created from the combustion of minerals with sulfur and although in small amounts it is used in food products, frequent contact with it is very toxic. That is why the Alkanatur shower filter is free of calcium sulfite. Our filter is based on a completely natural product such as activated coconut charcoal. In addition, to remove even more residues, metals, and bad odors, we use two additional layers of filters: a layer of cotton and another layer with deoxidation particles. This way, we obtain high-quality water, 99% chlorine-free, without impurities or organic matter.
