Red wine of fire. Made from Syrah grapes that year after year is always in a hurry to be the first. It wants to be the highest grade, more color, more complex aromas.
It is a reflection of the land where it is grown; a clayey quartzite gravel pit that gives discipline to the vines. Even harvesting in early September is overpassified and the heat means a very quick harvest and refrigeration to avoid unwanted fermentation. The result is a powerful but cellar tamed wine with sweet aromas that will encourage you to order a second glass.It pairs well with Asian food, smoked foods and soy sauce.
