Aradon Garnacha from 100% Garnacha grapes. Made from vines over 50 years old located in the millennial term of Aradon at more than 550 meters altitude where the influence of the Mediterranean and Atlantic climates converge. Cultivated on hillsides in shallow soils with little organic matter, low yields per vine allow for slow ripening and a great balance in its fruit.
After continuous monitoring of the ripening process to establish the time of harvesting, a careful manual harvesting process is carried out. A pellicular maceration is carried out at the beginning, before fermentation. Subsequently, during fermentation, gentle pumping over allows us to extract the silky and elegant tannin of this variety. Its subsequent aging in new French oak barrels for 8 months rounds out its character and enhances its personality.
