Description
The Latin name of this wine evokes the Mediterranean home: the portal of the Roman house and temple. The Merlot variety owes its name to the blackbirds that fly over these vines, looking for the sweet taste of ripe grapes.


Since 1989, to open a bottle of Atrium is to enjoy a symphony of aromas. The notes of ripe cherry and raspberry jam form a vibrant chord with the sweet tannins, thus writing a magical score.


Gastronomy

Perfect with veal, pork or wild duck.

Serve at 15-16ºC


Tasting notes
Beautiful very dark cherry colour. Generous aroma, intense and typical of the variety, with notes of very ripe fruit and even jam (plum, blueberry) on truffle and bay leaf background. The palate is full and sweet on the palate, with excellent, sweet tannins that open up towards the fruity notes of the aroma. Then, as it warms, it exhibits rich nuances of leather and vanilla that evolve towards a persistent and sensual finish.
