Barón De Ley Reserva was named best rioja by the English magazine Decanter. Made with Tempranillo, it has a great balance between fruit and well-integrated wood, power, and smoothness.
Barón de Ley is located in the Monastery of Imas in Mendavia, restored in 1995 and 1996. Its furniture and decoration transport us to past centuries.
Barón De Ley Reserva is made from grapes from our own vineyards in Mendavia (Rioja Baja). It is aged for 20 months in new American oak barrels, and then 24 months in the bottle until it reaches its full maturity for consumption. This wine has not been subjected to any type of filtration or stabilization, so it may contain sediments of natural origin.
Barón De Ley Reserva is ideal for accompanying meats, Iberian ham, and Riojan cuisine. It is recommended to decant before consumption and serve at a temperature between 17 and 18ºC.
