MIST is our Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, one of the most exclusive coffees on the planet. We are proud to offer you a superior coffee due to its origin, its natural production system, its traditional packaging in wooden barrels unique in the world and its scarce production. It originates from Jamaica's Blue Mountain, at an altitude of 2,000 meters, where the phenomenon of perpetual fog called MIST occurs. With a 17-18 mesh, soft body, very chocolatey and subtle malic acidity with notes of grape, it has a pleasant and lingering aftertaste of dark chocolate and toasted almonds. ORIGIN AND SINGULARITY OF BLUE MOUNTAIN JAMAICAN COFFEE
When coffee arrived in Jamaica by the hand of British Governor Sir Nicholas Lawes, in 1728, the conditions of the country of the Blue Mountains were already privileged for its cultivation: mild temperatures of 22º C, rich soil, abundant rain... But what would make this coffee really special would be a particular phenomenon of the area. In the Blue Mountain range, which exceeds 2,000 meters in altitude, a fog is produced by contrast between the heat of the ground and the mountain winds. A persistent and consistent fog, perpetual, that allows the coffee plants to bear fruit slowly for 8 months. This fog, like our Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, is called MIST
