The rowanberry schnapps from hunters is an authentic piece of Tyrolean schnapps cultivation, valued for its fine notes of bitter almond and its pleasant effect on the stomach. Rochelt only processes wild rowanberries from the forests of southern Finland. The wild and untreated berries grow and ripen under unique conditions right at the climatic limit of what is botanically possible. Immediately after harvesting, the berries are electronically scanned and classified again. This process ensures that only clean and fully ripe berries are fermented and distilled. We need up to 80 kg of berries for just one liter of the coveted heart. The matured brandy is strong and at the same time smooth, with harmonious bitter and marzipan notes on the palate and a delicate sweetness in the finish.
