Yerba mate Canarias, like all Uruguayan mate, is mainly composed of powder with very small and cut leaves, without stems (no stick). Its flavor is strong and bitter and its texture is almost creamy.
The leaves of the yerba mate trees used to make Canarias come from the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande Do Sul in Brazil. The trees grow in native forests whose microclimate favors the ideal development of the leaf's properties.
Due to its composition, it ensures a bitter and intense flavor of high duration, typical of yerba mate CANARIAS.
This yerba is ideal to enjoy a Chimarrao (a version of mate from the south of Brazil) or for those who enjoy an espresso.
