The Vistula cherry, also known as sour cherry, is cultivated for us in the sunny regions of western Styria. The slightly oval fruits, which shine in red when harvested, are characterized by their juicy, tangy, and aromatic pulp. Our farmer makes every effort because each cherry is carefully picked by hand for us during the harvest, and only when the fruit has reached its full aroma and the optimal ratio of sugar and acid. To ensure this, the harvest usually takes several weeks. This way we ensure that only fully ripe and highly aromatic fruits are processed and then distilled. Our sour cherry brandy impresses with its refreshing fruity aromas, fine notes of cinnamon, and a slight hint of bitter almond.
