Description
The traditional Tempranillo variety is the base of Coronas, ennobled with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon.


Provenance
It is the oldest brand, Don Juan Torres Casals registered it on February 7, 1907.


It has recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. Undoubtedly one of the oldest and most historic brands on the Spanish wine scene.


Gastronomy
Ideal with meats, creamy cheeses and traditional paella.

Serve at 17-18ºC.


Tasting notes
Delicate floral aromas over a background of very ripe fruit (blackberry and strawberry), oak and truffle. Rich and complex palate. Its tannins present a fruity and fleshy structure that evolves towards the velvety smoky and spicy nuances acquired during ageing.


Type of grape

Carbernet Sauvignon. The emperor of the red varieties, originally from Bordeaux, it is grown in our vineyards in the Central and Upper Penedès and Conca de Barberà.
