Lactic acid bacteria + galactooligosaccharides (GOS)
- Developed for babies and pregnant women. - Three special strains of lactic acid bacteria. - With galactooligosaccharides (GOS)
Curabiom® Baby is a preparation specially developed for babies and pregnant women. It contains a combination of special strains of lactic acid bacteria and galactooligosaccharides.
1. Intestinal flora: important for the baby and the mother
Curabiom® Baby contains a combination of special lactic acid bacterial strains (Bifidobacterium infantis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus) and GOS (galactooligosaccharides). Galactooligosaccharides are extracted from lactose and, therefore, are very similar to the galactooligosaccharides found in breast milk.
2. GOS (galactooligosaccharide) and lactic acid bacteria
An adequate intake of lactic acid bacteria is very helpful for babies and pregnant women, especially if the baby is not breastfed and/or was born by cesarean section. To address this, Dr. Wolz has developed Curabiom® Baby for babies and pregnant women. The three special strains of lactic acid bacteria (Bifidobacterium infantis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus) are carefully selected based on current studies. They are natural lactic acid bacteria, similar to those found in breast milk. Galactooligosaccharides (GOS) are fibers formed by polysaccharides. They enter the large intestine undigested, where they are used by intestinal bacteria.
