Origin
Wakame seaweed (Undaria pinnatifida), one of the most consumed seaweeds in the Western world today, originates from Japan or Asia.
Using in cooking
Before cooking, rehydrate them by soaking for 30 minutes. Then rinse them with clean water and chop them as desired or serve whole.
Seaweeds are ideal for consumption in soups, rice dishes, salads, pastas, stews, with vegetables, legumes, cereals, etc. Add to any dish 10 minutes before it finishes cooking.
