Dolcetto is a historic wine from the long winemaking tradition of Piedmont. Ageing takes place in steel vats to achieve the maximum expression of aromas and flavours characteristic of this grape variety.
The grapes were brought to the winery, destemmed and crushed. The maceration on the skins lasted for a period of 6 days at a temperature of no more than 27-28°C. Malolactic fermentation was completed in mid-December. The wine was then left to age in stainless steel tanks.
Dolcetto d'Alba is a vivid ruby red colour. The nose offers vivid sensations of freshly pressed grapes, floral notes and hints of ripe fruit. The palate is full-bodied and balanced with a pleasant almond finish.
