Description
Dow's Fine Tawny is a blended wine aged for three years in small oak barrels in our cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. Barrel aging produces a softer, lighter wine than Dow's Ruby, which ages primarily in large oak vats and barrels. Dow's Tawny combines subtle fruit flavors with deliciously velvety nutty notes from barrel aging. Once bottled, it is ready to drink and requires no further ageing. If hot, serve slightly chilled.

Attractive toasty colour. Dow's Fine Tawny achieves a combination of softly velvety caramel and nutty aromas with delicious ripe fruit, such as apricots with a hint of raisin. Fresh on the palate, well-balanced and with a long, slightly dry finish
