Eido da Salgosa Albariño is a white wine produced in the D.O. Rías Baixas with Albariño by the Cazapitas winery.
After the grapes arrive at the winery, they are directly introduced into a pneumatic press without removing the stems. Then, the must is cooled to allow it to clarify for 24 hours. After this period, racking takes place and fermentation is carried out at a temperature of 14ºC.
Once fermentation is complete, the wine is racked and the lees are selected for further treatment for 4 months, keeping them in contact for a further 4 months. Subsequently, the wine undergoes a process of filtration and cold stabilisation.
This wine belongs to the Rías Baixas DO, specifically to the O'Rosal subzone. Adega Cazapitas is located in Tomiño, Pontevedra, Galicia.
Colour: It has a light straw yellow colour and great luminosity.
Nose: It is characterised by its abundant presence of fruit, as well as subtle mineral and spicy notes.
Palate: On the palate, there is an outstanding freshness, without the acidity being overly aggressive. The wine is simple but elegant as a whole.
