This is a unique white wine made with the Verdejo grape variety by Bodega Emina Medina (D.O. Rueda). Its typicity is due to the fact that it has been fermented with native yeasts from its own grape clusters, which gives the wine a great aromatic potential and delicious memories tropicales.Con just open it, you can detect an aroma of tropical fruit and citrus that merges with green tones that transport sensorially to Castilian fields of fennel.DESCRIPTIONAt the Emina Medina Winery (D.O. Rueda) we are aware of the potential of our vineyards, that is why we have endowed them with their own personality to make them totally unique.nicos.Emina Verdejo is made from grapes grown in our own vineyards of this variety, and the yeast with which the wine ferments has also been selected from our vineyards. These yeasts come from the grape skins and are responsible for achieving a unique and differential Emina Verdejo, the result of this fermentation process is a wine with greater organoleptic properties and a marked touch of tropical fruits such as passion fruit, grapefruit or pineapple. For the fermentation of Emina Verdejo we have used our own yeast 'Schacaromyces Cerevisae Emina'.Las Marcas vineyard is one of our most important estates in Bodega Emina and is located in Villalba de Adaja (Valladolid). This estate is divided into several zones, the largest of which is planted with Verdejo grapes on trellises. This vineyard has a planting frame of 5,000 vines per hectare and is located on the banks of the Adaja River. Its soils are sandy with a coarse soil at one meter that limits root development but absorbs the mineral-laden trace elements and is the first wine to have its carbon footprint calculated in Spain.
