Espiga Old Script Imperial Stout Barrel Aged 33cl

An Imperial Stout aged in barrels, this is a blend between their Dark Way beer and an Imperial Stout aged for one year in 15 year old whiskey barrels:

• Black beer with brownish, creamy and persistent foam
• On the nose we find notes of cocoa, and coffee from the malts, as well as notes of vanilla, wood and whiskey from the long maturation in barrels.
• In the mouth it presents a robust and unctuous body, with fine bubbles. With a slightly dry finish. The chocolate malts combined with the oat flakes give it a silky texture
• Will pair well with chocolate desserts or on its own to be enjoyed slowly and leisurely
