The Fuelle Empeltre is an extra virgin olive oil made with cold extraction and exclusively mechanical procedures. The empeltre variety is typical of Aragon and from it we extract this superior quality extra virgin characterized by a straw yellow or old gold color. Its cultivation is widespread throughout the Aragonese community, although in the Zaragoza area, where the raw material used to make Aceites Lis juices is cultivated, it has a more fruity and sweet taste than in other geographical areas. In its tasting, slightly spicy and bitter notes reminiscent of green almonds can also be appreciated. The Fuelle Empeltre has been awarded the Gold Medal TerraOlivo 2016, at the Mediterranean International Olive Oil Competition.
