Appellation of origin
Brandy de Jerez
Mark: Rey Fernando de Castilla
Fernando de Castilla brandies come from selected distillates of white wines which, after many years of ageing in casks previously used to produce sherry wines, produce brandies of great personality and nobility. The winemakers have adopted for the ageing of brandy, the original and characteristic Jerez system of criadera and soleras - already used in the ageing and maturing of wines - which, together with the previous wrapping of the American oak casks, the unique characteristics and structures of the cellars, and the microclimate enjoyed by the area, form a set of unrepeatable factors, which result in a unique product with its own personality and well-defined and original organoleptic qualities.
The holandas, which have a unique personality and organoleptic qualities, are the result of a unique and original process
The holandas of selected alquitaras are aged first in vintages and then by the system of criaderas and soleras in oak casks with old oloroso and amontillado sherry.
