Bodegas Remirez de Ganuza is, today, one of the most prestigious Rioja wineries in its relatively short history, founded in 1989, and all due precisely to its creator, Fernando Remirez de Ganuza. This wine Fincas de Ganuza Reserva is a modern Rioja, made with the highest technology available to the winery, selecting only the shoulders of the bunches from several plots in the surroundings of Samaniego (Alava), where the winery is located. Powerful, with good structure and ageing potential due to its more than 25 months of oak ageing, it is a wine that since 2011, when the first vintage was released, has been highly appreciated by both critics and consumers

Fincas de Ganuza is probably the wine in which the winery has invested the most, especially in the ageing process, in order to improve its performance. Since the 2003 vintage it has been aged entirely in 100% new oak barrels and differs from its big brother, the Remírez de Ganuza Reserva, only in the age of the vines from which the grapes come, which in the case of Fincas de Ganuza is between 25 and 40 years old
