First Fariña Carbonic Maceration from D.O. Toro
This is the first carbonic maceration wine in the area.
Made 100% with Tinta de Toro, this young wine showcases a spectacular range of flavors and aromas. Each year it features a different label that reproduces the winning work of the "Primero de Fariña" National Painting Competition.
This year, the winning painting of the Contest was created by artist Pepa Satué Ripoll from Almería.
Rating: Carbonic Maceration
Variety: 100% Tinta de Toro
Production: Destemming without crushing. Maceration in an atmosphere of carbon dioxide produced by the fermentation of the grapes at a temperature between 18 and 22ºC for 5-7 days.
Tasting: Cherry red with violet hues. Wide range of fruity and floral aromas on the nose, with milky notes. On the palate, it is fruity, very fresh, and balanced.
Optimal consumption: 1 - 3 years after harvest.
Pairing: Meats, cheeses, salads, and pasta.
Temperature: 15 - 17 ºC
Alcohol content: 14%
