Flor de Vetus Flor de Vetus is a wine produced in the Toro wine region, in the province of Zamora. This designation of origin is known for its robust and powerful red wines, mainly made with the Tinta de Toro grape variety, a locally adapted strain of Tempranillo. Flor de Vetus has an intense and deep red color, characteristic of young red wines from the region. On the nose, it offers a mix of fruity aromas, such as blackberries, plums, and black cherries, along with spicy notes like black pepper and cloves. Subtle oak aromas are also detected, contributed by aging in barrels. It was named one of the best wines under 10 euros in the world in 2023.
