The Red Wine Galena is an exceptional expression of organic viticulture, with a unique blend of 35% Garnacha, 15% Cariñena, 25% Merlot, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from five of our fourteen vineyard plots, selected based on soil type and vine adaptation, with a limited production of 0.5 kg per vine.
The harvest is done manually, with meticulous selection of the grapes in perfect condition, transported in 15kg boxes to the winery to preserve their integrity. In the winery, a rigorous manual selection of the grapes is carried out, followed by separate fermentation and maceration for each variety in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, a gentle pressing of the skins and malolactic fermentation is done. Finally, the different varieties are blended before aging in barrels.
The wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels (90%) and American oak barrels (10%), providing complexity and structure, followed by bottle aging for 24 months for refining and development.
Galena is a wine with a unique character, with an aromatic intensity that combines notes of ripe fruits, spices, and subtle oak touches.
