History


Founded in 1945 and established in 1952, Bodega Besalduch Valls became a prominent wine producer and a wine reference in the region, which adopted the official name of "Wine Region of Sant Mateu". It operated until the mid-1980s and then closed until revitalized by the Besalduch Valls family.

Rebirth and project


The Besalduch Valls family, originally from Sant Mateu, revitalized the winery in 2007, combining modernity with tradition in their project. Leveraging their experience in economics and finance, they designed a plan for plantations and business that reactivated the wine sector in the Village of Sant Mateu, known as the Historical Capital of Maestrat, where their great-grandparents already cultivated these traditions.
