Ginkgo biloba is one of the oldest tree species, often described as a living fossil. It is a medicinal plant used for centuries in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. The active ingredients of ginkgo biloba are found in the leaves and are mainly flavonoids and terpenoids. Ginkgo biloba leaves provide an antioxidant effect due to their flavonoid content. On the other hand, the terpenoids in ginkgo leaves act by dilating blood vessels, making it indicated for some circulatory disorders. Dosage: The daily dose is 2 tablets a day after the main meals.
