The Boldo is a tree from the Monimiaceae family. Native to South America, it grows in wild and temperate areas of the Andean regions of Chile and Argentina, and in the southern highlands of Peru. The fruit of this tree is eaten, both raw and cooked, since pre-Columbian times. Both its bark and leaves are used. Its composition is rich in Essential Oils such as Elcineol, Eucalyptol, and Ascaridiol, as well as Flavonoids and Tannins. We have selected a glycerinated extract of Boldo with a ratio of 1:5. This means that for every gram of extract, 5 grams of plant have been used. In addition, our glycerinated extract of Boldo is titrated in Boldine at 0.5 mg/ml, providing 1.5 mg per day.
