Greenall''s Gin
Greenall''s Gin is a London dry spirit, produced in England by G&J Distillers. Excellence is one of the attributes that distinguish G&J Greenall. Therefore, the quality standards are very rigorous. This spirit goes through a process of four distillations. With more than 250 years of tradition, it is the oldest Dry London style gin in the world.
Greenall''s Gin dates back to the 18th century. In 1761, the G&J Greenall's distillery decided to give its product a purity and excellence that was impossible to find at that time. Today, it preserves that spirit, making this London Dry Gin through a process of four distillations by the traditional pot-still method.
Greenall''s Gin is ideal for drinking in a gin and tonic, in a martini, neat or on the rocks. Eight botanicals are used in its distillation, all carefully selected. Among them are wild juniper from Tuscany, coriander from Morocco or lemon peel from Spain, so it can be enjoyed even alone, appreciating its herbaceous flavor.
The secret recipe of Geneva Greenall''s has been only in the hands of seven master distillers throughout the vast history of this house. Currently, the specialist is Joanne Moore, one of the few Gin masters in the world. She is in charge of preserving the secret of Thomas Dakin, the first specialist and creator of the recipe in 1761.
