Jean-Claude Boisset Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2018 is a red wine made from Pinot Noir in Clos de la Roche (Burgundy) by Jean-Claude Boisset.
The simple name of this wine makes us forget that it comes from one of the most famous Grand Cru Village: Morey-Saint-Denis. Located in the north of the community, Clos de la Roche takes its name from a rock that the Celts used in their rituals, and this vineyard produces some of Morey's most robust wines.
The red wines of this vintage are intense and bright to the eye and show ripe red fruit aromas. The tannins are velvety and subtle.
This wine has tremendous cellaring potential.
Colour: Nice deep robe colour with ruby glints.
Aromas: Intense aromas of black fruits, flowers and sweet notes.
Palate: Present tannins tamed and balanced with a pleasant acidity.
