The blend contains Clynelish Single Malt, whose distillery used water from the hills where gold deposits were discovered. Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve is as luxurious and exclusive as its name suggests.
The Whisky Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve has received several important awards, including four Le Monde Selection Grand Golds and four Double Golds at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The Whisky Johnnie Walker Gold Label was blended to celebrate Johnnie Walker's first 100 years in 1920 and was relaunched in 2012. It has a distinctive character brought by the blend with Clynelis whisky.
TASTING NOTE:Appearance: Light amber color.Nose: It has a very sweet and fruity aroma with hints of honey, apricot, and raisin. These fruity notes are very intense and jump out of the glass.Palate: It is very balanced, with notes of sweet fruits and a creaminess reminiscent of honey, as well as a long finish with a slight smoky touch characteristic of the east coast of Scotland.
