Created by Sabine and François Lurton, Léonce Malbec is the third vermouth in the Léonce range, designed as a tribute to Léonce Récapet, distiller and great-grandfather of François. Each Léonce is the expression of its terroir. In the case of the Léonce Malbec, it reflects that of the Chacayes, south of Mendoza in Argentina, where François, a pioneer of wine in this area, established the Piedra Negra Winery.
Wine from the Chacayes region
Made on a base of the famous Piedra Negra Malbec Reserva, fortified with a distillation of Pinot Gris and enriched with some twenty botanicals, mostly from the Andes Mountains, and some from the winery's organic orchard.
These botanicals are a blend of citrus fruits, citrus fruits, citrus fruits and citrus fruits
These botanicals are a blend of citrus (peels), spices (star anise, ginger...) aromatic herbs (mint, basil, sage, chamomile, lavender...), bitter plants (cinchona, gentian roots...) and plants typical of the South American continent (incayuyo (Inca tea), jarilla, te burro, matico...). Léonce Malbec packs the Andes Mountains in a vermouth
