Los Pedroches designated origin hams come from Iberian breed pigs that live in peaceful tranquility among centuries-old holm oaks, cork oaks, and gall oaks in the Los Pedroches pastureland. Their diet is based on acorns and natural pastures. Its exterior shape is elongated, stylized, and profiled with the so-called serrano cut in 'V', which presents a characteristic color from pink to purple-red and with fat infiltrations in the muscular mass.
