Makarpy Tortas de Alma

Soul cakes are a delicious pastry filled with a jam that is called ALMA, it is the jam that results from cooking the pumpkin called cucurbita pepo with honey and sugar.

The filling paste is made with oil, brandy, mistela and flour. With the dough obtained, round pieces of approximately 10 cm. in diameter are made, which are filled with soul jam, closed in a half-moon shape and are ready for cooking

When they come out of the oven, they are coated in powdered sugar
