More information

The Martínez Alesanco family has spent several centuries ploughing, pruning and harvesting the red lands of Badarán, a privileged plain for growing vines near San Millán de la Cogolla, in the heart of Rioja Alta, and with exceptional conditions of terrain, altitude and climate, where the vines of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Viura and red Maturana allow the production of a wide range of wines that would be impossible to obtain in a different environment The Martínez Alesanco family still have vineyards from before the phylloxera that devastated almost the entire Rioja vineyard at the end of the 19th century.

Since then, many years have passed and many things have changed, but this family preserves the way of working of their ancestors, thus caring for the vineyards and the memory of those who are no longer here.
