The English company, Wilkin & Sons Limited, was founded in 1885 and currently has 400 hectares of land around Tiptree, where strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, red plums and strawberries are grown. Other varieties of fruit, which cannot be grown in Tiptree, are imported from the best regions of the world.
