After the discovery of America, new spices arrived on the peninsula, including paprika. Introduced in Murcia by the Hieronymite monks, it forms part of sauces and stir-fries

The sauce is made as a homemade sofrito, as it was done before, with fresh and seasonal ingredients, with Airén white grape wine and paprika from Murcia PDO cooked over a low heat.

We recommend consuming them either at room temperature or hot, alone or accompanied by pasta or rice.
