Organic Black Lemon
The Black Lemon or Loomi is a classic ingredient in Middle Eastern cuisine
It is produced naturally, through a slow process with controlled temperature and humidity, in which no other ingredients or additives are added.
It can be found whole, sliced or powdered.

Black Lemon is attributed with a multitude of properties and the density of nutrients is much higher than in fresh lemon. It stands out for its high fiber and potassium content. It contains antioxidants such as vitamin C, hesperidin or citroflavonoids.
How do I use black lemon?
- Add a touch of black lemon powder to your favorite dishes, whether sweet or savory, such as a stew or a cake and enjoy that special touch
- Give a different touch to your cocktails or infusions with a red of black lemon. You can also add it in roasts and will be a result that you will love.
Black lemon cookie recipe
Ingredients:
- 280 g flour
- 150 g butter
- 90 g white sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ sachet of baking powder
- Black lemon powder
- Lemon juice (40ml approx.)
- Salt
- Glazed sugar
Steps to follow:
- Mix the sugar with the butter in a bowl. Once it is integrated, add the egg and mix again
- Then add the lemon juice, the black lemon powder and a pinch of salt
- Mix the yeast with the flour until they are perfectly integrated with the rest of the ingredients. Cover the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees while the dough is resting
- Take a small amount of the dough, roll it into a ball and flatten it
- Place the cookies on the baking tray and let them bake for 12 - 15 minutes.
- When they are baked, take them out and let them cool. Add a touch of icing sugar
