NaturGreen hemp flour is obtained by pressing hemp seeds. This allows separating hemp oil from what is called the cake: the rest of the seed. This hemp cake is then dried, crushed, and sifted. The result is a flour with a classic texture and appearance, except that it has a surprising green color, with a slight nutty flavor characteristic of hemp.
Normally you can replace 25% of conventional flour with hemp flour in most recipes. Due to its high protein content, it is enough to replace a small amount of your regular flour in the recipe to increase the protein content of your diet. Hemp flour is an excellent addition to baking, adding the benefit of hemp proteins and its high fiber content.
