Hatcho Miso is the oldest variety of Miso and is made only with soybeans and salt, without adding any type of cereal. It is dark in color and has a very intense flavor.
Ingredients
Soybeans*, water, sea salt, koji (Aspergillus oryzae). *from organic farming
Allergens
May contain traces of barley flour.
Directions for use
Add at the end of soup cooking without boiling. Miso is already salty so it is not necessary to add salt to dishes prepared with this food. The occasional appearance of clear clumps on the surface is due to the presence of an amino acid (trioxin) that naturally develops in fermented miso.
